Aftercare Essentials

  • Botox/Neurotoxins

    Stay upright for 4 hours after treatment (avoid lying down or bending forward)

    Avoid rubbing, massaging, or applying pressure to treated areas for 24 hours

    Skip strenuous exercise, saunas, or hot tubs for 24 hours

    Refrain from alcohol and blood thinning medications (unless prescribed) for the rest of the day to reduce bruising

    Makeup can be applied gently after a few hours, if needed

    Results begin to appear within 3-7 days with full effect at 2 weeks

  • Dermal Fillers

    Expect mild swelling, redness, or bruising for a few days (this is normal)

    Avoid touching, pressing, or massaging the treated areas for 24 hours (unless instructed)

    Skip strenuous exercise, saunas, or hot tubs for 24 hours

    Refrain from alcohol and blood thinning medications (unless prescribed) for the rest of the day to reduce bruising

    Apply a cool compress (not ice directly on skin) to ease swelling, if needed

    Sleep with your head slightly elevated the first night to reduce swelling

    Results are visible right away, but final outcomes are best judged after 2 weeks once swelling settles

  • Skin Resurfacing & Microneedling

    First 24 Hours:

    Keep the treated areas clean and avoid touching with unwashed hands

    Do not apply makeup, sunscreen, or active skincare (retinols, acids, vitamin c)

    Expect redness, warmth, or ‘sunburn’ sensation (this is normal)

    Days 2-5:

    Cleanse with a mild, fragrance-free cleanser

    Apply only the recommended soothing/repair cream or serum

    Use broad-spectrum SPF 30+ once your provider advises it is safe

    Skip strenuous exercise, saunas, hot tubs, or hot showers

    Healing Period Weeks 1-2:

    Do not pick, peel, or scratch at flaking or shedding skin

    Avoid direct sun exposure, wear a wide-brimmed hat if outdoors

    Skip harsh skincare products until cleared by your provider

    Hydrate well and keep skin moisturized
